During one workshop wey dem hold, the Executive Director of Government Relations for eTranzact, Abubakar Achimugu, talk say na dem dey work hand in hand with NRS to make sure say compliance no go too hard for taxpayers. Achimugu no dey lie! E talk say as you dey upload your e-invoice, you go dey see wetin you don pay and e go better your life make you no dey pay multiple tax. Everybody fit do am because the platform dey user-friendly – even if you no sabi big grammar, you go fit use am well!
He come talk say dem dey give same-day onboarding to help people upload their invoices without wahala. Just enter your details, and boom! You don do your work quick quick.
For the NRS side, Mohammed Bawa wey be Project Manager, explain say dem don plan the whole rollout process into three phases: first na for large taxpayers, second na medium taxpayers, and the last one na emerging taxpayers. This way, dem go fit manage any kasala wey fit happen and no make anybody feel left behind.
Bawa also talk say to make the work easy, dem don accredit plenty service providers like eTranzact, so you no go dey alone when you dey face your tax wahala. Dis one go help everybody, especially as we dey move from manual tax process to digitization.
The whole plan don already kick off since August 2025 for large taxpayers, and dem don dey pilot some businesses since early 2025. Medium taxpayers, wey get annual turnover between N1 billion and N5 billion, go start their own phase in 2026, while emerging taxpayers go start for 2027.
