As 2027 election dey near, dem politicians don bring their usual shakara come again. E be like say dem no fit learn from past matter, as dem dey do am like say na movie wey get sequel. But make I yarn una gist wey dey happen for front, as dem don start dey throwaway jina for each other like say na free water.
Nobody fit forget wetin Nasir El-Rufai, former Kaduna State Governor, don dey talk. Na im dey fire political grenade for President Bola Tinubu and APC wey e no dey too happy with. E don dey vex since dem disqualify am from minister post – just like child wey lose im favorite toy. But my people, Abeg! Make we ask, wetin El-Rufai don do for all e years as governor? Na just to dey catch cruise or wetin?
People dey think say all dis noise na distraction. E be like say dem sabi say elections dey come, so dem go just start dey shout. If we no careful, we go find ourselves in political circus wey no go gree change our wahala. El-Rufai dem fit think say he dey fight for the masses, but we sabi say na him own ego he dey protect. Even former President Olusegun Obasanjo don talk say dis guy na master for lying, so wetin you go expect from am?
During El-Rufai tenure, killings for Southern Kaduna dey rise like jollof rice wey dey boil. Instead of making better moves, he dey throw blame for herdsmen wey dey wreak havoc. People dey ask, why you no do your work come make life better for the people when you suppose get power? All those “compensation” him even pay bandits, wetin him don gain for am sef? E don come deny those payments now, as if dem no get record. Haba Mallam, which kind back and front dis one be?
As elections dey near, na im we dey see people like El-Rufai come again with drama wey no dey help our people. Dem dey shout and dey try drag attention so people no go remember say poverty dey, insecurity dey high, and our health sector dey crash. Na dis kind of distraction wey don dey spoil our society, dem no wan make we reason am well. Wetin you think say go change if dem no dey listen to the real issues?
With all these wahala, na we go pay the price. Nigerians dey need real problem solvers, not just noise makers wey go just dey use mouth dey chatter while dem dey chop money from everywhere. Una no go believe say all of dem don just change party like say na uniform wey dem dey wear! From PDP to APC, now labour party – abeg which one we go trust for better?”
As we dey look forward to this election, make we shine our eyes wello. Naija no dey need another set of expired politicians wey go come bring same wahala wey we don suffer before. Na only solution providers go fit make this our beloved country great again. Politician wey wan run for office, make dem carry enough ideas come for plenty changes, not just make mouth dey run any how for TV. E no dey funny anymore.
