During the session, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Waidi Shaibu, gidigba present all the plans wey dem get for the budget. After the presentation, Senator Abdulaziz Yar’Adua wey be the Chairman of Senate Committee on Army, talk say dem dey satisfied with wetin dem hear and dem ready to support our soldiers make dem fit do their work well.
Yar’Adua come drop mouth talk say na time wey all the committees go ensure say fund no go delay. He talk say, ‘This funding matter dey affect many government agencies, but we go make sure say we collaborate well with Army leadership.’ Na true! Nigeria get plenty security wahala wey don dey dey worry us, no room for delay!
On the other side, Aminu Balele, wey be him counterpart for House of Representatives, also hail the soldiers for their commitment. He promise say dem go dey put pressure on top the lawmakers to make sure say the money wey dem approve go dey release quick-quick so that soldiers fit carry out their duties.
Omo, dis N1.50 trillion don come at a time wey Nigeria dey face serious security issues like insurgency, kidnapping, and banditry. Our brave soldiers don dey fight Boko Haram and other criminal elements for North-East for more than 10 years. Na dem dey ensure say peace dey come back to our communities.
