Over hundreds of demonstrators come out on Monday, dey shout for former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, wey dem dey hala say him get wahala of N432 billion corruption case. Dem come together under one body dem call Mega National Movement for Good Governance, and dem carry plenty placards wey get words like, ‘Answer The Charges El-Rufai’ and ‘El-Rufai Not Above The Law.’ Abeg, no be small drama!
E be like say dem wan enter EFCC compound, but security men, wey dey shine eyes for gate, no gree dem pass. The spokesperson for di group, Muhammad Abdullahi, dey yarn for journalists say dis matter wey dey happen no be small tin. He talk say dem no suppose make am political drama, say na serious accountability matter.
“Dis matter na law and constitution issue wey concern di government and El-Rufai. E no suppose turn to emotional wahala,” he talk. Abdullahi come mention say di Kaduna State House of Assembly don raise plenty questions about wetin dey happen under El-Rufai tenure; public debt matter, financial management, and contracts wey no follow correct way.
Dem also mention say some former guys under El-Rufai don already catch fire, dey face investigation matter, including people like Jafaru Sani and Jimmy Lawal. No be joke o!
Abdullahi come dey call EFCC and ICPC make dem do di necessary investigation sharp-sharp, make e dey based on wetin dem fit prove no be just talk.
