Dis bill wey dem carry enter public hearing for Luton Park Hotel on February 4, 2026, fit bring more wahala for di people wey dey suffer already. Franklyn Isong, wey be di Executive Director of CHRAN, don condemn di bill well well, dey shout say e go dey like say dem don use juju catch Akwa Ibom people.
Di man vex as he recount say dem don reject similar bill back in 2016 under Udom Emmanuel, and he dey urge di State House of Assembly to shine their eye and no allow dis one see light of day. He talk say dis bill dey promote poverty instead of support for di grassroots.

CHRAN dey call on di Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, make e no gree sign dis bill if e pass. Na di people of Akwa Ibom dey suffer, no be di politicians wey dey chop from di table. E go better if dem no allow dis bill see di light of day, make dem no use poverty punish di citizens them.
