Dis wahala no go pass wetin Mr. Hamza Baba, di National Programme Manager talk for Abuja when dem launch di programme. E yan say dem loans go dey open to every farmer wey fit meet di qualifications, and the best part? No interest, no collateral! You fit as well get chance to grab N300,000 to boost your farming.
Baba explain say dem dey target poor farmers for grassroots level. E say if you wan access di loan, you gats be Nigerian citizen, at least 18 years old, and most importantly, you gats own or rent land, plus don dey do farming work already. No dey disturb for new farmers o!
Dem say you also gats get your NIN, bank account, and belong to one farming cooperative for your area. Dis programme go cover all di 774 local governments for Naija, so no be only Lagos or Abuja go dey benefit. Dem dey aim to help about 22,000 farmers and 28 farmers wey go benefit from each local government. Na real grassroots movement we go see!
