For Abeokuta dis past Wednesday, Ogun State Government don launch CCTV control room wey dem dey call Amotekun Corps. As dem talk say crime no go fit sleep for dey state again, this initiative na big step forward to ensure wey all of us fit sleep with two eyes closed.

Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, wey be Secretary to the State Government, dey always dey shine im eye as dem unveil this important project. E hail Brig Gen Alade Adedigba (retd.), the Amotekun Corps Commander, say na im smart brain fit bring dis CCTV plan come life. Wetin we see for dis control room no be small thing, as e dey show say dis government dey serious about security.

Talabi talk say, “Dis CCTV control room go help us sabi where crime dey happen in real-time. When we sabi wetin dey go on, e go help our operatives act fast, no more wahala.” E mention say dem don start with three locations but go soon expand to cover all the state. Bi dat, if criminals no fit hide, wetin we go do? Na to dey catch dem and make everybody feel safe.

Meanwhile, Brig Gen Adedigba also talk say dem no fit do without technology again. Na im make am clear say security wey no involve technology go just dey like play because criminals no dey wait for anybody. “E go save time, e go save life, and we fit respond better,” Na wetin im talk, and we dey follow for dat talk. If some bad guys dey run come, we go fit nab dem before dem even know wetin dey happen.
