Naija politics no dey ever tire us! This one wey happen for Borno State no be small matter. The chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Borno, Umar Bolori, don come out clear say him dey apologize for wetin e do before. Na wah! Last month, e bin reject the party transitional and registration committee wey dem form, talk say dem be ‘political jobbers’ wey wan scatter the party ahead of 2027 election.
But recently, during one press conference wey happen for Maiduguri, Bolori don come yarn say him actions na error. E say, ‘I go set record straight for our great party, ADC for Borno. Last month, I bin talk plenty things wey no go well with our national leaders and party members.’ Na that time, e call out Kashim Imam wey be one of the chieftains for the party, but now, e don bow down, dey acknowledge say those committees dey valid.
Bolori don promise say him go support the committees wey dey led by Alhaji Ali Bukar Wurge and Peter Biya. Him encourage all party members make dem join hand support the new committees, because na dem go handle the party matter well. E talk say, ‘Next week, we go start our membership registration exercise. Make everybody hold dem hand for voters registration too.’ So, if you dey for Borno and you get interest for ADC, abeg no slack, gather yourself!
