As dem gather for street on Friday, wahala come burst again. Na after CROUS come announce say dem go close all di student canteens after dinner, students no gree siddon look. Dem don carry their legs enter road, dey throw rock like say dem dey play ball! But police no go sit down for ground; dem bring teargas come meet dem.
Dis protest no be new thing o, as students don dey sing their anthem since December 2025 when dem first carry placard for dis same financial aid matter. Dem dey complain say dem no don pay their study bursaries for 13 months! Abeg, wetin you expect make dem do? Dem gatz run come outside, show dem frustration!
As wahala dey unfold, one second year medical student wey dem call Abdoulaye Ba don lose him life after clashes between police and students. Na wetin government talk, and e just dey painful. Dis kind thing no suppose happen for schools wey suppose dey safe! Students don dey cry for justice and dey demand say make di government pay dem well.
Na true say protests don dey happen for different universities across Senegal as dem dey fight for their rights. Dem young ones dey use their voice matter-we to call attention to di issue; but wetin e go take for government to listen? No be to scatter dem own future dem dey talk about?
As di unrest dey continue, e be like say matter go dey worsen if government no quickly solve dis financial wahala. Make we just dey watch how every every go unfold, because di students no go rest until dem see better change for their lives.
