This incident happen as LAWMA enforcement officers come catch one guy wey dem identify as Muritala Suleiman, wey be 42 years old, as e dey try dump waste for Tinubu Square around 1:31 a.m. Na him be the unlucky fellow wey don jam LAWMA hawk!
The operation come after dem don do surveillance for the area, sabi say dem dey serious about this illegal dumping matter wey don dey scatter Lagos for years. LAWMA wan stop dem unauthorised waste tossers from making our streets look like rubbish dump.
According to statement wey dem drop for Facebook, dem dey try avert say those illegal dump points no go show face again after dem don clean am. Dem use Isale-Eko as dem base to intercept the carts during the operation.
Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, wey be LAWMA CEO, come talk say dem go continue with this kind enforcement to make sure say cleaned areas no dey fall into abi na suffer again. E even talk say dem waste investigation operatives dey on ground to different locations to clear black spots and keep our environment sharp.
