My people! Na so e be this morning for Lagos Island, when LAWMA take matter into dem hands. Dem catch plenty waste carts wey dey carry rubbish for corner like thief wey dey run. Dem say dem go no allow illegal dumping spoil this our obodo again.
Early this morning, around 1:31 a.m., dem nab one man wey dem call Muritala Suleiman, wey be 42 years old from Zamfara State. Na Tinubu Square hin dey dump rubbish when LAWMA officers shine their light catch am. Wetin him no know, no be small wahala dey for dem waste matter.
LAWMA management don already talk say this kind wahala no dey happen for night time, because dem sabi say people go use low visibility to do plenty illegal things. So, dem dey keep watch, sharp sharp, to scatter any bad belle way wan show face.
Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, wey be the big man for LAWMA, talk say if dem no continue to dey enforce this law well, those wey don clean up environment before go turn am to rubbish dump again. E talk say dem gats dey serious about this matter to make sure our public spaces remain clean and fresh.
He even advise all the Lagos residents make dem follow the proper way to throway dem rubbish. No be say na anywhere dem wan drop am. Na for waste basket dem suppose drop am, but some people still dey pretend like say dem no sabi.
The agency go dey work on top this matter well well to palliate all those dirty points wey don collect trash. Dem dey urge all citizens to put mouths for this matter if we wan make Lagos the clean city wey e suppose be.
