Dis warning come when dem gather for Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES) meeting, wey INEC organize for Abuja. E come from di mouth of NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, but na im paddy, Hassan Abdullahi, wey be di Director of Internal Security, come deliver di message sharp-sharp. He talk say dem go identify all di political thugs and politicians wey get violent wahala, and dem no go spare dem. Dem go catch vote buyers too, no be small.
Ribadu talk say di Nigeria Police Force go dey lead di charge for election security, and dem dey work hand in hand with other security bodies to make sure say di electoral process no go scatter. E assure say dem go deploy adequate security personnel to polling stations and high-risk wards so say everybody go fit vote without fear.
Him come add say political parties, candidates, and supporters need to behave themselves well, make dem no forget say na democracy we dey follow. E warn say any body wey no gree to comport themselves go pay for am, as di law go catch dem tight.
Na so di NSA come dey plead with media, civil society, community leaders, and everybody wey dey waka for di street make dem join hand to protect Nigeria democracy. E hail INEC for wetin dem achieve during di Anambra governorship election, say security agencies do their work well to maintain order.
Ribadu no forget give dem reminder say additional elections dey come, like di off-cycle governorship polls for Ekiti and Osun, plus di 2027 general elections, and all di voter revalidation wey dey go on.
