E be like say di law no dey joke again o!
According to wetin dem talk for statement from FG side, na Lagos State High Court pass this judgment on Tuesday, January 14, 2026. The guy don receive serious charge for Suit No. LD/24692C/2024 – The State v. Okpara Kingsley Onyekachi, after e run his heavy truck for stationary mini truck wey dey wait for inspection.
The thing wey happen for November 16, 2023 for Orile-Iganmu na as Ajomale, Deputy Chief Road Marshal Assistant, dey do him work. E no fit believe say na him go pay the highest price because of one reckless driver wey no get any sense! Na wetin everybody dey talk be say, na serious negligence and recklessness wey the court see, and dem no gree say e just happen by chance. Na so dem convict am for involuntary manslaughter!
Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed dey shout for joy say this verdict na correct wake-up call to all the heavy-duty drivers wey dey misbehave for road. “If you drive anyhow, you go carry your own wahala. If we lose anyone, especially one officer wey dey carry out him lawful duty, dem law go hold you strong!” he talk been, showing say this wahala wey dey happen no go dey tolerated again.
FRSC dey plan to tighten dem enforcement, and dem go dey work with stakeholders to ensure say this kind bad driving wey dey put life for danger no go continue.
