Kudirat, know as the wife of MKO Abiola, wey supposed get her throne for dat June 12 election matter, na correct target dem turn am to. This woman stand against Abacha reign of terror, and dem kill am as if e no mean anything. Na wah!
Sergeant Rogers, wey come confess say na him kill Madam Kudirat under Hamza al-Mustapha order, first gree talk but later carry back words after dem catch am. E serious matter o! For 2012, court find Hamza and others guilty, say dem suppose hang but in 2013, dem turn am back. Appeal court go say evidence weak, as if na joke.
And we don dey wait since 2014 for Lagos State to carry matter go Supreme Court. But wetin we see? Nine good years no one show face till case come again, judge begin carry mouth talk say dem no even show sign of interest. Abeg, wetin be all dis? The justice system don dey fail again, wey mean say the bad guys don win!
Jamiu Abiola, her son, don talk say the way Lagos State dey behave no make sense at all, e dey pain am well. As Amnesty International sabi point am out, wetin stop Lagos from prosecuting their own case? E be like say dem dey used brain wash or dead brain.
Even President Bola Tinubu, wey dey there when all dis wahala dey happen, no dey follow up. We go sit down dey look like say nothing dey happen, while state dey abandon justice for Kudirat wey hero for democracy! And we no fit dey caught the pain, because no be only Kudirat dey suffer, many wey don die without justice go dey join am.
Na for February 4, 2026, e come clear say Lagos State no dey serious. Dem say Attorney-General no even sabi wetin dey happen for the case. Na open disgrace o! How person go no sabi whether na murder case or not? E dey vex me for body.
Justice wey no follow naija story don join the list of many wey don die without answer: Dele Giwa, Bola Ige, Funsho Williams and even Lekki shooting. Kudirat don join dis list wey dey shake ground. E be like say for Naija, we trust no one when it comes to justice.
Still, we hope say Kudirat spirit go inspire more people to stand up. Her story no be waste. Her life motivate many people to fight against military rule and na wetin dey give us democracy we get today, although e dey shakara. Yes, we suppose mourn, but we suppose dey alert. If dem fit abandon dis one, dem fit abandon any of us. We must keep the fire burning, no to let things die.
