Wahala don burst for Edo State as police don catch two suspected kidnappers wey no sabi run well!
This serious gist happen on January 28, 2026, as operatives for Edo State Police Command, Igarra Area Command to be precise, catch the kidnappers wey dem call Muhammed Muamadu Haru, 35, and Abubakar Muhammed Haruna, 25. Dem find dem during patrol for Auchi–Igarra Highway, wetin dey happen every day for the area.
According to Eno Ikoedem, wey be the police spokesperson, na dem vigilante people notice these kidnappers during joint bush-combing operation. As dem recognize the boys, wahala burst, and the boys try to run go bush, but police don quickly intercept dem.
Spokesperson still talk say investigation dey continue, but this matter no end there. Just few days later, on February 2, 2026, police motorcycle patrol team come manage spoil another kidnap attempt wey dey happen for same Auchi–Igarra Road. Three armed suspects dey plan to block road, but na hot chase dem carry leg go forest.
As dem run, police recover some items wey look like supply for their criminal activities, like food, mobile phones, and jack knives. E be like say these guys dey prepare well-well before police come spoil their plans.
Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, come burst out with praise for di police officers wey dey work hard to catch these bad boys. E reassure di residents sey dem go make sure say Edo dey free from these criminal elements. E still advise everybody make dem dey watch out for suspicious activities and report am sharp to police.
This wahala follow other kidnappers wey dem catch recently for Edo, as police don already nabbed 13 suspects and rescue three persons wey dem kidnap before. Na serious matter we dey face o, and resistance from police dey show say dem dey ready to jail dis people.
