No be small matter o! Edo State Police don catch two suspected kidnappers dem for Auchi–Igarra Highway. Na wah! Dis one happen as dem dey patrol de area, try make sure say everybody dey safe.
According to the statement wey dem drop, dis boys wey dem catch na Muhammed Muamadu Haru, wey dey 35 years, and Abubakar Muhammed Haruna, wey dey 25 years. Dem say na talent dem get for kidnapping syndicate, and na vigilante member spot dem during one serious shootout as dem dey try rescue people from dem.
Dem say e happen for January 28, 2026, around 1:30pm when police operatives from Igarra Area Command dey on duty for di highway. Dem try escape run, but police no gree. Dem quickly intercept dem and catch dem red-handed, so dem begin investigations right away.
But dat no be all, o! Just on Monday, February 2, another drama happen as motorcycle patrol convoy from di same Igarra Area Command wan foiled another kidnapping attempt. Dis time, na three kidnappers dem catch wey dem dey prepare to block road. But dem sharp, dem quickly run go bush, leaving behind all di things wey dem use for criminal work like food, mobile phones, jack knives and plenty more.
The Commissioner of Police wey dey for Edo, CP Monday Agbonika, don praise di officers for their quick action and ability to act on top di matter. E also urge di community make dem dey vigilant and report anyone wey dey look suspicious. Na together we go fit clear di streets from dis criminals wey no wan allow people make dem jolly.
Na so dem dey work hard to make sure say Edo State no dey follow anybody for the matter and dem dey carry out bush-combing operations to catch di other guys wey run go hide.
If you remember, just few days ago, dem don rescue three people wey long dey abducted and don catch 13 other suspected kidnappers and vandals as part of di operations wey dey go on. Na just the beginning of a new reign of security for Edo State, and we go dey stay sharp for any updates!.
