Senegal Dey Fear As Softcare Use Expired Materials for Pads!

No be small wahala o! Senegal don turn hot as people dey vex for Softcare matter. Dis company wey dey under Chinese group, Sunda International, don land inside serious trouble wey people no fit ignore. Dem dey accuse dem say dem use expired materials to produce sanitary pads and diapers. Chai! Wetin dem no go see for dis our obodo Naija!

According to di Senegalese Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (ARP), dem find over 1,300 kilograms of expired polyethylene film, wey be raw material for dem products. E mean say people wey dey use dem products fit suffer serious health wahala, but Softcare no gree say dem do any wrong. Dem just dey deny everything like say dem no sabi wetin dey happen for their factory!

Na pas d regulators dey make matter worse o. At first, dem tell everybody say make dem withdraw di products, but na few days later, dem come back to shout say ‘Nah, e no be wetin we dey talk.’ If dem no dey use di expired materials, wetin carry dem come dey hold am?

People don dey complain o! Some women dey report say dem dey feel itchiness and infections after dem use di pads. Na so di Senator Guy Marius Sagna come gather people for rally, him dey shout say di Health Minister no dey do anything! Him dey ask say, ‘How many people go suffer before una go act?’

This wahala no just dey affect Senegal alone, e dey touch all Africa. Softcare products dey everywhere, from Nairobi to Lagos. If dem fit do dis kind thing for Senegal, wetin go stop dem for other countries? Di whole matter don turn health issue wey go fit cost lives.

People dey call for action; dem want better standards and make sure say health no go dey at risk for any woman wey wan manage her period. Di authorities dey silent like say dem no sabi wetin dey happen, but di women wey dey suffer no go keep quiet again. Dis matter don turn rallying point, and dem no go stop until dem get di dignity and safety wey dem deserve!
