Dis announcement happen for Abuja for di Media Centre wey dey for National Stadium. E come carry come three major grassroots events; one na di inter-school swimming competition dem dey call Swim to the Future, and di National Junior Swimming Championship wey dem dey call Swim for Life. Ow! Wetin dem dey do no be small!
Swim to the Future go happen for Abuja on di 7th of March, then e go waka go Lagos from di 25th to di 27th for di inter-school swim competition. After that, di National Junior Swimming Championship go run from April 2 to 4. You go fit c how di show dey burst!
According to our guy Dunkwu, di plan for grassroots na serious matter. E talk say, “We don take strategic decision: we wan build di future of swimming from ground up.” Na true! Dem dey invest plenty for school sports, sharp skills, and e wan make sure say we dey produce swimmers wey go shine for global stage.
Omo, no be joke! Dunkwu dey show leadership as e don talk say e go personally sponsor di Swim to the Future event. “No be short-term matter we dey chase. We dey build something wey go last. Talent no go dey come only sometimes but e go dey come regularly,” e talk.
