My people, no be small wahala o! Foundation Cricket Club (FCC) don show wetin dem dey made of as dem land for the top of Club Cricket Committee Lagos Premier League. Last weekend, dem sabi collect two wins like say na collection wahala! Dem start with Ibeju Lekki Cricket Club, wey dem beat by just four runs in a nail-biting match for Saturday, January 31.

For dat match, FCC no sabi waste time at all, dem pack 91 runs all out. Come set Ibeju Lekki target of 92 runs to win. E be like say dem go carry am go reach the end, but as dem dey hustle for the runs, nine wickets don don fall. Tension dey high, five balls left, dem need five runs to win, but one sweet drama happen! Kareem Ayoku, wey dey try to make magic for Ibeju Lekki, just find him self run out by Elijah Jimmy. Na so FCC carry the match reach their side!

After that hot match, dem no gree rest at all. Dem face Island Titans come fire dem five wickets. This one make dem dey shine like diamond, as dem remain unbeaten after six matches. Below dem, we still get Ibeju Lekki and Island Titans for the top three slots. Other teams dey fierce, make dem no go loose their chance to enter Super 6 and Super 4.

Na since 1987 wey this CCC Lagos League start, e don really blow up! Before na just four clubs dey play, now e don turn 22 teams, split into two divisions. Premier Division get nine clubs, while Division One dey carry 13 teams wey dey play within League A and B. The top two teams from both Leagues A and B go enter Super 4, and the top two go carry promotion come Premier Division. The league champion for Premier Division go shine like star via Super 6 tournament, while the bottom two go face relegation waka go Division One.

Last season, na Rising Stars Cricket Club and Rocks of Abeokuta na dem carry the championship crown for Premier Division and Division One respectively. Dis season no go easy for any side o, as everybody dey run for di finish line. Players dey shine, coaches dey sweat, and fans dey chant to give their team that jara motivation. Na so Lagos dey, cricket dey be like big party!
