As e be, dem talk say this year, dem dey geared up to tackle any wahala wey fit happen.
The report wey dem gather no be play play o, e show say dem get 394 road crash incidents, 249 tanker and truck troubles, plus 204 fire outbreaks. Na serious gbege o! Make I sabi, February carry the highest number wey reach 122 cases, followed by April wey get 121, and May with 119 incidents. Alimosho, Eti-Osa and Ikeja now be the top three areas wey carry emergency wahala for 2025.
Now, make we talk about those wey dem rescue. Between January and December last year, LASEMA waka go save 1,924 people, from dem, 906 na men, 1,003 na women, plus some small pikin wey dem take care of. But dem still record 173 deaths, where 139 na men, 32 na women, and 2 small boys. Wetin be dis na! Na serious matter we dey face!
But no worry, LASEMA Permanent Secretary, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu don talk say dem ready for any emergency wey fit come their way in 2026. For retreat wey dem organize for agency staff, him appreciate the hard work wey dem put last year. Him even talk say Governor Sanwo-Olu don provide wetin dem need to tackle disasters well well for Lagos.
