As for beans, e don fall even more. Brown beans don land to N1,547.03, which na about 43% reduction year-on-year. E even get month-to-month reduction of 12.13%. Garri, no too far; na N819.70 for 1kg, e don drop 32% year-on-year. Na this kain price drop wey make some market people dey shine their teeth, but dem still dey hold their pocket tight.
But wetin e go be for palm oil? E no come too sweet o! Palm oil price don rise small to N2,508.73. Na so life be; some dey rise, some dey fall. Kogi state dey hold the highest rice price for N2,159.99, while Bauchi dey enjoy lowest price with N1,237.81. Price cruises up and down, just like Naija weather!
For market yang, traders dey talk say consumers don start to open their wallets small-small again e fit be because prices don dey yakpa down. For Osogbo market, plenty people don dey buy full basket of tomatoes, and some prices don fall sharply. But no be all food items come down: Irish potatoes don shoot up from about N5,000 to N10,000!
