Na Wa! Dem traders for Onitsha Main Market don finally return to work o! After one week of struggle, dem don open shops again as dem hear Governor Soludo message.

Last week, na Governor Chukwuma Soludo order the market close because dem no wan hear word for Monday sit-at-home wahala wey don dey disrupt people business since forever. E no funny at all as e cause plenty guys to dey hide for house like say dem dey play hide and seek.

But as dem open on Monday, market begin buzz like bee hive! By 9:30 a.m., approximately 70% of the shops for Lagos Line, Ado Line, Mandela Line, and White House Line don dey serve customers again. You go see traders displaying their goods like say dem dey do fashion show!

Na true say some ikons like Omaga and After 5 don dey bring business back to life, chook their head for the market wey don dey quiet for long. People wey dey sell food, clothes, shoes, and all those nice, nice things don pack their wares come outside.

But for road side, e no still dey sweet, sha. Onitsha-Owerri Road, Upper Iweka, and Mkpikpa Road dey look deserted like home after party don finish. Motor parks dey still close, and security wahala dey patrol the area like dem be road safety.

Puna, wey be police and soldiers, don show their presence, make sure say everybody dey follow Soludo order, no time for gree-gree. But e be like say some traders still dey fear, because o! About 10,000 shops dey marked for demolition, wetin fit make any trader shiver. Wetin we go do now? It no easy, my people!
