AMAC Don Warn Motorist About Fake Haulage Fee Collectors!

No be small gist wey dey come from Abuja o! E be like say dem don catch some people wey dey use red T-shirts dey collect haulage fees wey no be dem own. Na Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) wey drop dis hot warning, as dem talk say make motorist and residents pay attention.

According to Kingsley Madaki, wey na Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs to their Executive Chairman, Christopher Maikalangu, dem no approve this kain hustle. Dem like make every commercial driver sabi say no be everybody wey wear ‘FCT Haulage’ shirt get right to collect money from dem.

Dem talk say, hauling fee na wetin local governments suppose dey collect as per constitutional right, but some people dey try enter dem territory wrongly, claiming say dem represent Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). Wetin dem dey do no correct, as e fit cause wahala.

For the official statement wey AMAC drop, dem clear am say: “It no concern FCT for dis matter, e be local government work.” So if you see anybody wey wan collect money for haulage, make you ask dem for dey proper identification card and official demand notice. No be just anybody fit waka come dey collect money anyhow!

AMAC sef don encourage all transport operators and residents make dem report any wahala wey fit arise from such fee collection to law enforcement agencies. My people, e good make we follow law and no make anybody chop our money wahala-free.
