As e be so, SNEPCo don announce say dem get mouth to feed us with gists as dem dey carry out this Turnaround Maintenance (TAM) wey dey under proper regulation and all. If you sabi sey oil and gas na the koko for naija economy, then you go fit understand why dis maintenance strong well well.
SNEPCo managing director, Ronald Adams, no let us rest as e talk say, “This maintenance na serious matter o! E go make sure say our Bonga FPSO dey alright to produce oil and gas wey we fit sell for market.” Na true talk, if we no maintain the facility, wahala go dey for ground.
Dem dey expect say after this maintenance, production go resume come March. No be small thing! The team go dey carry out statutory inspections, do all the regulatory checks and even upgrade the equipment wey dey there, just to make sure say everything dey breathe well for long run.
Bonga FPSO dey approximately 120 kilometers offshore Nigeria, for water wey deep pass 1,000 meters. E get capacity to produce 225,000 barrels of oil and 150 million standard cubic feet of gas every day. You fit imagine wetin go happen if this facility no dey work? Na real gbege we go face, abeg!
