Makinde Promise Say Him Team Go Continue Work After E Go

Omo! Na wah, Oyo State dey celebrate 50 years and Governor Seyi Makinde don talk say him team no go slack after him tenure finish for May 2027. E yan this during Thanksgiving Service wey dem hold for Cathedral of St Peter’s, Aremo, for Ibadan as part of the golden jubilee celebration.

Governor Makinde talk say Oyo State go follow the guidance of God as e dey govern. Na strong foundation him don lay down wey go make sure sey the state dey grow even after him don waka! From January 21, dem don plan one whole week of celebration as dem mark this big 50 years.

The anniversary begin with big people for Oyo State like former governors, traditional rulers, and political big faces wey all gather to celebrate. Na Ibadan, which na the capital, dey shine like say na today dem create am from the old Western Region.

During the Thanksgiving, Makinde read Bible lesson from Matthew and carry the grace wey God shine on the state kon chook to his leadership style. E talk say na God make am guber in 2019 after eight years wey e don dey contest. E no forget to drop one serious advice make everybody know say make no one go back to the old ways.

“We go dey continue with the good governance wey we don start and my team still dey; na me alone go comot! My people, we go carry on with wetin we dey do as per God’s plan,” na wetin Makinde yan.
