She start journey for inside family wey get three siblings, and her elder brother wey don graduate from MIT dem shine her eye for STEM. You fit imagine as she dey sneak waka go play video games for her paddy house to catch fun, but no be just any fun o, na tech fun!
Rosy be like say she no just dey follow her brother footstep sha; na so she land for high school for Ghana, join computer club, learn programming, and from there her heartbeat just dey follow tech matter. After high school, she gree do internship for travel agency, digitise dem paper files wey scatter like jollof rice for party. This not just change game for dem business, e come arrange am well well!
Later, Rosy clear road follow Computer Science and Mathematics degree for Smith College for America. As she land for J.P. Morgan after school, she sabi say she need the whole business education to fit blend tech with better management skills. Na so she carry her bag go Harvard Business School, learn plenty things, and improve her career path.
Today, her work with Mastercard Foundation no be small thing. Rosy dey spearhead Young Africa Works strategy wey dey aim to help 30 million young people, especially young women, get work wey make sense. Naija dey carry 30% of that target o, and she no wan make anybody left behind!
One project wey dey shine for her eye na the partnership with STL wey focus on regenerative agriculture. Dem don help more than 100,000 young people learn how to farm better way—without all those toxic chemicals wey dey spoil our environment.
But no be only sweet story, o. Dem get plenty wahala for road. When you dey try help 10 million young Nigerians by 2030, no be small matter. Partnering with African-led organisations no easy. And security wahala for Nigeria dey challenge dem journey, but she no dey back down!
Rosy no just dey talk, she dey act. She sabi the importance of mentorship, especially for young women wey dey enter STEM field. She don be role model, and she dey sure say she go share her experience make dem know say dem fit shine for this space.
For everything wey she don achieve, and the impact she dey make, Rosy dey leave legacy for the next generation. She no just dey work for now; she dey plant seed for future leaders.
