This new center wey dem name Care and Research Development Centre na correct move to boost research, innovation, and skills among students.

Dem do the grand launch for CUCRID Auditorium on Thursday, and as the CEO of MiGO Mobile, George Evans dey talk, e clear say dem don set out to equip students with beta technological skills. E no just dey about products, na about building legacy! Evans talk say, “This one na the audacity to dare to dream.” No be small word oh!

E still drop bomb say to invest for education na correct way to make society better. He go even partner with MTN for pilot scheme wey go make MiGO smartphones available for selected MTN shops. Dis pilot don start with 16 locations, once e land, dem go expand am.

Evans dey feel the partnership with Covenant University well well. E say, “We gatz work with pipo wey get correct vision.” And no forget say, MiGO dey bring products wey go make technology affordable for everybody, including laptops, smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and even power banks. Prof Timothy Anake, wey na the Vice Chancellor of the university, dey shine like new penny since dem launch dis tech hub. He say this center go help students, faculty, and the whole community. Na so universities suppose dey run matter!

Him talk say students go get first-hand experience, dem go fit research MiGO products, and even get chances to intern and work for dem. “This initiative go dey annual, and as dem dey grow, scholarship go dey flow to benefit even more pipo!” he yan.

Omo, the event even highlight when dem present scholarships to two lucky students. Ayomide Ogunmola wey dey 100-level carry N10m full tuition from 100 to 500 level, and David Ibiyemi wey dey 500-level get N2.2m. Na serious money oh!
