This plan no be small matter o, as e dey coordinated by the Office of the National Security Adviser through the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC). Na their job to ensure say all government arms dey walk together to tackle the wahala wey IEDs dey pose, especially for di North-East area. You sabi say di document wey dey talk about this plan bin say dem go create one Counter-IED working group wey go dey always dey monitor and evaluate di work wey dem dey do to fit match di current threats.
As government dey plan am, dem also dey work with international partners to create a threat-aligned plan wey go help everybody align efforts wey dey happen for ground. Bacause you go agree with me say as di use of IEDs dey evolve, na so our move suppose dey change too. No be to just dey sit down and dey talk; we gatz dey check wetin dey happen on ground and modify our plans accordingly.
NCTC go also set up forensic laboratory wey go dey function as national Counter-IED Centre. This lab go help our Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) units receive all di necessary technical support to analyze explosive devices and gather important gist on how dem dey build the bombs and who dey make them.
And no be only that o! Dem go establish one Weapons Intelligence Team wey go dey within di Joint Terrorism Analysis Branch wey go dey share forensic and technical findings to help operational units sabi wetin to do when IED threats show face. E go even improve how field units dey respond, as e go inform dem on latest warnings and strategies to outsmart these terrorists.
The plan no go stop there o, as e go focus well on how to disrupt di supply of materials wey terrorists dey use to make bomb. Dis one include efforts to catch illegal dealings wey dey go on with bomb-making materials wey some fit get civilian or industrial uses. Na wetin dem call dual-use, one side go bad hands while di other side dey legitimate.
One aspect wey make sense be say, NCTC go also connect with international bodies like NATO Counter-IED Centre for Excellence wey dey for Spain and di World Customs Organisation. Na to ensure say we dey get correct strategies to intercept any bomb-making components wey dey come our way.

Major General Abdulsalami Abubakar wey dey lead di Operation Hadin Kai, don talk say, di use of IEDs dey affect military and civilians for di area.
