My people, make una gather well, we gatz talk matter wey heavy for our environment! E get as Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) don yan say make no one touch their officers again while dem dey do their work, no matter wetin happen.
Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin wey be the Managing Director of LAWMA, don issue serious warning after reports show say some of dem enforcement guys dey face wahala. Dem dey threaten dem, some even carry hand follow! Wetin be dat na? Dem no come dey send dem to fight o, dem dey here to make sure say Lagos dey clean, and we dey live healthy.
Gbadegesin talk say as e dey happen, e no dey ginger dem to provoke wahala, rather na to keep our environment okay. If you see them for street, no be to begin show muscle o! The law dey for ground, and any person wey try show violence go feel the full force of the law! E no go sweet for the person, I swear.
He also drop some sense say all those enforcement work dey covered under Lagos State Environmental Management and Protection Law wey don dey since 2017. So, if you carry your hand touch dem or obstruct their work, no say police go dey come knock your door belle belle.
Gbadegesin appeal to we residents say make we dey cooperate with LAWMA officers, follow wetin dem talk and no dey use confrontational style. If you get wahala, talk am through the right channels, no be say you go use your hand straight reach dem.
He dey expect community leaders, market people, and even transport unions to jump on the train, promote order, safety and make sure say we dey responsible for our environment. Make una no forget say we all gatz work together to make Lagos better!
At the end of the day, na all of us go enjoy as LAWMA dey try keep every corner of Lagos clean, and make am livable for everybody. So, no be say wahala fit jam you just because you no like something wey dem dey do. Make we respect dem, e no go cost anything!
