This heavy budget wey dem talk say na better one, e don pass for Friday as dem dey chop the gist from House of Assembly. Speaker, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu, come yarn say dem look the money matter well well before dem add am. Na so dem make sure say everything dey okay for the people of Kwara.
As dem break am down, e clear say recurrent expenditure don rise to ₦409.6 billion. Abeg, no be small change o! Na this adjustment wey dem make go help government fit balance wetin dem dey do for community and ensure say Kwarans no dey suffer.
Capital allocation self don jump to ₦271 billion from ₦254 billion. Dem dey prepare ground for better infrastructure and development as dem wan jara on top wetin dem call ‘developmental priorities’. Naija people sabi this one well, na so all of us go fit enjoy better things for the state.
Another gist wey Speaker Danladi-Salihu share na say dem don put debt servicing for this year at ₦14.2 billion – dis one don show say budgeting no be small matter o! Na serious work dem dey do to ensure say dem no carry the money waka anyhow.
“We don look the budget well following constitution guidelines. Na why we gree approve am. This one go bring better benefit for Kwarans, so we fit dey chop well. We go continue dey follow di budget to make sure say e dey work how e suppose work,” im talk.
