As Darius dey waka, him open the day with better performance for 60-meter hurdles, where e finish for third with 8.13 seconds. This guy no dey play! Him still jump reach 15 feet, 5 inches for pole vault, before him finish the heptathlon race for the 1000 meters with the sixth position, clocking 2:54.84. How una see am?
No be only Darius wey show face o! Another Badger athlete, dem call am Schemling, also do im best and land for sixth position with 4726 points. Schemling show say e carry serious matter for the 1000 meters too, running am in 2:52.16. As e dey struggle no be small for the hurdles and vault, im still manage to represent Beta serve!
Na next Saturday, competition go continue as the Fighting Illini Challenge dey come again. Dem go get some better throwers and pole vaulters from Wisconsin wey go dey compete for noon.
