Zulum no wan hear anything wey concern succession politics. Him dey focus on wetin matter pass, like security level up and development for the people of Borno. Him tell party leaders and all the big boys wey dey there say make dem ensure say the APC congress wey dey come go dey fair and transparent. Na so the party fit survive strong, him yarn.
He still talk say make new faces enter party leadership instead of same old gaffe. This one go help the grassroots base of APC grow, him believe. Zulum even dismiss all the gossip wey dey fly say him dey pick candidates or dey influence wetin go happen for election matters. “I no get candidate for any position, and I no sabi who go take over from me. Na God and the will of the APC members go decide,” na wetin him talk.
As part of how to make the party dey unite and increase participation, Zulum don create two committees. One of dem go handle e-registration and reconciliation among party members. The committee dey led by Baba Ahmed Jidda, wey don serve as ambassador before. Dem go draw members from all the three senatorial districts for Borno State.
