NLC Workers Don Block National Court For Abuja, Waka No Go Grease

Abeg, make we gist! Na serious matter dey happen for Abuja as workers of Federal Capital Territory Administration, dem don gather chop ”picket” for National Industrial Court on Monday. Na so Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) come join body for this wahala, wey be total and indefinite strike over wahala wey no finish with their labour rights.

The NLC no dey play with dem matter. Dem don clearly tell say, this strike dey justified because FCTA management and political leadership no dey respect workers’ rights at all. E be like say dem don forget say na the workers dey run the machine, but this one no be new story for Naija sha, na every time we dey hear dis one.

As dem dey protest, you go see plenty placards wey dem carry, some bold inscriptions dey show say dem vex well well. One placard talk say “Wike must go!!”, another one show “Abuja no be Rivers” where dem dey remind the government say Abuja no go fit be like Rivers State. E be like say dem dey fit carry any matter enter court wey dem fix as they dey complain!

Dem also carry placards wey talk “Pay promotion arrears” and “Enough is Enough”. Na true talk be this oh! How person go work, and dem no go pay am promotion wey he suppose chop? No be so dem take spoil everywhere! And “No working tools” dey also show say dem dey demand proper equipment for work, na this kind things dey make dem protest, because who wan work without tools?

Dem dey call for serious attention from the government, say this issue wey dey carry their matter enter strike no fit happen again. Abuja workers don tire for dis kind sweet-talk wey dey happen. Dem no wan just hear sugar-coated promises anymore!
