As we dey talk, the latest fire wey burst happen for early hours of Monday, January 19, 2026, for Corner Shops, Chalyx Close, Maraba. This wahala affect six retail outlets wey dey there. E be like say na ASP Abdulmalik carry the news reach Federal Fire Service, Garki Station around 2:51am. Dem no waste time, the Station Commander, SF Agbo, quickly mobilize response teams. Nyanya Station sef come join dem for back-up.
Even though dem no alert dem on time, firefighters do wetin dem sabi, dey quickly contain the fire and save property wey dey valued at ₦100 million from the original ₦400 million wey dey under threat.
