This new terminal go dey for Eastern Bypass for Chikun Local Government Area, and the groundbreaking ceremony don already flex.
This project no be small thing, e go take 20 hectares of land and fit handle over 5,000 vehicles at once. Imagine traffic be like jam like this, with intelligent traffic management systems wey go dey make sure everything dey flow. Sani talk say everybody go fit enter dey easy, as dem go implement escalators and elevators wey go help elderly people and those wey get disabilities.
Governor Sani talk say this terminal go get refuelling stations for petrol, diesel, and even compressed natural gas. Na wah! Kaduna go turn to transport hub wey dey front for sustainable innovation! Plus, dem go build three-star hotel inside the complex so that travelers and drivers fit rest well. E mean say no more stress for anyone wey waka pass that side!
Sani no stop for there, him wan make sure say the terminal go be major economic booster. E dey reason say because the terminal dey close to Eastern Bypass, e go help decongest city centre and improve security surveillance. Talk about jobs? E get plenty o! Job go dey for drivers, technicians, traders, and even young entrepreneurs. This na classic win-win!
Na so Governor Sani dey pass message say the investment for this modern transport infrastructure go fit solve the wahala wey dey cause crime and insecurity for the area. Na him sabi say as dem fit create safe and dignified transport, e go bring peace and stability not just for Kaduna, but for the North-West region as well. Na big plan wey dey come!
One of the highlights na when him talk say Kaduna government don already bring in 100 free CNG buses since mid-2025. Those buses don carry over 1.4 million passengers since then and save commuters almost ₦1.5bn in transport costs. My people, this na miracle wey dey change life!
And no be only that o, Kaduna don complete 200 modern bus stops, and Kakuri Modern Bus Terminal dey 90% ready. Even Sobawa Motor Park dey upgrade at 50%. E go sweet to see how all the transport system dey come together!
Before e forget, by March 2026, dem go start the Kaduna Light Rail Project, wey go get 30-kilometre Red Line, 20-kilometre Yellow Line, and 24-kilometre Bus Rapid Transit corridor. Sani dey proud say these transport reforms don carry national recognition, as Kaduna don rank second for sustainable urban mobility during National Urban Mobility Conference wey happen for Abuja!
