Plus dis rubella matter wey fit cause serious issues for pregnant mamas and their pikins, like heart defects and eye problems. No be joke o!
Dr Ibrahim Akinwunmi Mustafa, wey be the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board, don yarn fresh for dis campaign. Him say regular immunisation na real MVP for public health front. “E go help us prevent polio, tuberculosis, whooping cough, and other serious sickness wey fit disturb our children health.”
Mustafa talk say dis integrated campaign na real necessity to keep health intact for Lagos. Him emphasize say dem go reach every child and adolescent, no matter where dem dey stay or wetin dem get. “The vaccines wey we get be correct, e dey safe, effective, and no charge!”
Dem say with the right immunisation, na so we fit reduce how many children dey fall sick and die. Plus, e go make school attendance better, and e go boost long term development for our society. “Immunisation sophisticated pass any investment wey we fit make for health,” him add.
