Na wah! This one no be small matter o! Indonesian rescuers don locate the wreckage of one fisheries surveillance plane wey don go missing for the South Sulawesi province. The plane wey dey carry ten people on board, plus crew members, don land for foggy mountain area.
Dem say this ATR 42-500 turboprop wey belong to Indonesia Air Transport (IAT) don lose contact with air traffic control around 1:30 p.m. local time on Saturday as e dey fly from Yogyakarta to Makassar. The plane wey get seven crew members and three passengers, na ministry staff from the Marine Affairs and Fisheries Ministry wey dey do air surveillance for fisheries.
Initially, dem talk say na eight members dey onboard, but later dem revise am to seven crew plus three passengers. As dem check, dem discover the debris scattered around Mount Bulusaraung, and one of the bodies have been found!
Andi Sultan, one official wey dey for South Sulawesi rescue agency talk say dem sighted the wreckage early Sunday morning around 7:46 a.m. Dem find large parts of the plane, including the fuselage and the tail. E be like say the search dey hard because of thick fog and the mountain no dey easy for rescue operations.
Later on, dem recover one victim’s body for one ravine wey dey around 200m from the peak of Mount Bulusaraung. As e stand now, nine people remain missing, but dem don deploy 1,200 personnel for the search operation! Hope say dem fit find the others alive.
