Dem talk am for capacity-building workshop wey happen for Enugu, as Senator Abubakar Bagudu, wey be Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, explain wetin dey happen. E clear say dis bioethanol blending go help Nigeria reduce how much fuel we dey import, and e go gree make cassava farmers shine.
The minister yarn say from di project, Nigeria fit dey collect plenty savings as e dey reach over three trillion naira every year. E talk say na by blending bioethanol with our usual Petroleum Monitoring Spirit dem go fit make dis happen. Abeg, make we jolt down say na form part of di national Bio-Economy policy wey dey promote circular economy pass just ethanol production alone.
Sen. Bagudu don already set di ball rolling, as e dey target about 14 million smallholder farmers wey go help drive domestic supply as well as rural jobs.
