The protests wey start for last December don turn to something wey fit shake the whole country. People dey vex say dem no fit chop, inflation don go sky-high, and di exchange rate for their currency don collapse like say na house of cards! Meanwhile, government wahala no fit support the people; e just dey shoot shoot!
As reports dey fly around, it’s estimated sey between 2,000 to even 12,000 protesters don lose their lives for this matter. We dey talk about serious casualty, my people! And how we go fit know if dem carry real numbers come out when governmental truth dey hidden like treasure?
Even countries wey dey around Iran no dey talk much. Every nation dey watch how e go play out as their own p pass dem wahala, and we no see serious united response from Arab nations. Dem dey tinker with their own power and politics, no want to disturb their own government for their side by talking too much about Iran wahala.
Meanwhile, Iran’s government don label the protesters as enemies of God, calling am punishment by death for people wey fit dey show dissent. Wetin dem dey fear be say if dem no handle this protest well, e fit turn to something wey go affect dem political hold. But dem fit forget sey, when you stay oppressing people, you dey push dem closer to self-determination!
As always, international politics dey play game for this matter. US President Donald Trump don drop his own mouth say help dey on the way for di protesters if killing no stop. But as we sabi, e dey easy to talk, but action fit no show or action fit just spark bigger fire. We never see if any real support go show face.
