Di gist be say, students no gree gree say dem fit turn their school wey dey learn into NYSC camp, especially as dem just dey resume from holiday wey sweet like sugar. Na so wahala come start, say security don dey breach and students don dey injure.
AbdulHafis Amin, wey be di acting Registrar, talk say dem don close di school to avoid wahala, after notice say plenty students don dey vex. E come drop statement say, this whole camp matter no fit blend with academic activities. Na so they don give students three-week break but dem no like am!

The Students’ Union Government, or SUG wey represent the students, don dey vex join saying dem no gree make dem use force on dem. Di SUG President, wey dem dey call ‘Analysis’ even talk say di protest na peaceful one. Dem no like how police don turn dem protest into small small war. Na only dem go lose!
Eyewitnesses talk sey when security people fire gunshot to control di protest, people begin dey run like sey dem dey play “catch me if you fit”, some even fall land for ground. Videos wey dey circulate for social media don show sey ground dey hot like fire for di campus.
Meanwhile, di Kwara chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come join di matter, dem talk say wetin police do no make sense! Dem say na bad planning to turn school into NYSC camp without proper talk with di students first. Dem dey call am reckless and dem demand say make government apologize to di students.
As we dey talk, di Kwara State Police Command never drop any official statement about dis wahala wey happen. Di matter dey raise serious concern on how dey dey manage security and welfare for students for di state. Stakeholders dey shout for dialogue make sure say academic activities no go scatter because of dis kind wahala.
