Na serious drama wey happen on Tuesday, when Justice Mohammed Umar sabi say dis guy tenure don finish since December 2025, so no need to carry matter wey don pass.
Anyanwu, wey be former factional National Secretary of PDP, no wan gree say him no dey that position again. E come waka enter court, carry INEC and one Umar Damagun wey dey act as National Chairman join matter. E even sign application say INEC no fit collect any PDP letter wey no carry him signature. Abeg, wetin be dis wahala? Na so dem join other party members as defendants too.
As dem carry matter enter court, Anyanwu lawyer, U.C. Njemanze-Aku, come talk say no need for matter again as their time don pass. E no go make sense to still dey pursue matter wey don die. INEC lawyer, Akintayo Balogun, no gree jolly, e come argue say dis case no suppose start in the first place, abeg make dem dismiss am with fine of ₦1m.
But Anyanwu lawyer talk say no be dem fault, say dem just wan save court time, make dem no waste time wey dey precious. But after plenty back and forth, Justice Umar come clear say dem don join matter so e go dismiss am, and no cost for anybody. Na so e be, case don close!
The whole drama start when Anyanwu no dey inside office again as e run for Imo governorship race wey e no win. After that, another guy, Udeh-Okoye, come claim the secretary position. Di matter dey make sense as Court of Appeal don support Udeh-Okoye before but then Supreme Court come turn things around for Anyanwu in March 2025. Despite all dis gists, dem still dey fight inside party, and now with dis latest dismissal, everything don come be like say case don end.
