Late last night, fire just dey waka no be small, as e burn one whole story building wey dey house computer and accessories dealers. That fire no just raze the building, e wipe away goods worth million for ground!
According to Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), dem hear report of the fire around 1:55 a.m. dem jump into action quick quick. Dem show up for the scene around 2:15 a.m. and wetin dem see na fire wey don take over everywhere.
Dem talk say the fire spread quick because of the plenty combustible materials wey dey the place. Na wetin make the flames dey rage like say na World War. No dey play with fire o, my people!
For casualties matter, thank God say no life lost as all the fire brigade wey come waka go come back intact. But one brave firefighter catch small injury, but dem give am first aid on top the scene.
LASEMA confirm say the upper floor of the building don really suffer damage; everything wey dey there get kain wahala with many goods totally destroyed. Dem don crown the building ‘no go area’ until dem check am well well.
After dem don fight the fire finish, dem cordon the area to stop the fire from catching neighboring buildings. The men wey dey fight the fire, plus police and ambulance service, dey work together like say dem be one big family. E make sense how everybody join hand to contain the situation.
Right now, LASEMA dey recommend make dem investigate wetin really cause this fire and also check if the building still dey strong for people to use am. E no go good make this kind thing happen again o!
