As dem dey announce di results, reports don show say many people don die – at least 10 wey dem talk. Bobi Wine, dis former musician wey don turn politician, dey on di run after dem raid im house. No be small thing! E say, ‘I manage escape from dem, but my family dey under house arrest.’ How e wan take keep safe even as dem dey hunt am? Sabi say for Uganda, dis kind wahala don dey happen before, but dis one don reach different level!
Di police deny say dem raid Bobi house, dem even talk say dem control di area because na security hotspot. Wetin be dis? As in? Our guy na ghetto president, and him don talk say di government dey carry massive ballot stuffing. Dis election no dey sweet at all – people dey fear, and na wetin dem call intimidation dey happen everywhere! E no good o!
But wait, another matter be say dem shut down internet for di country since election don start. So if people wan shine dem eyes, no way. Di authorities say na to prevent misinformation, but UN don talk say dis one dey serious concern. How person go fit gather enough fact if dem no allow am use internet?
Bobi Wine don represent di youth for Uganda, and as e carry di ghetto spirit, young people don dey follows am. As Museveni dey claim sey him na stability guarantor for di country, people wey sabi kon talk sey e don overstay im welcome. E don dey rule for how many years? Na 40 years! Make we no forget say Museveni na former guerrilla fighter, so e get im people wey dey protect am. This one no be correct! As e dey run di show, e dey make a lot of people dey vex.
Election observers wey dey watch di matter don talk sey dem no see ballot stuffing, but dey concern about di level of fear and intimidation wey dey make people no wan come out and protest. Dis kind matter wey don happen, e fit affect the trust wey people get for democracy wey dem dey try build for Uganda. Oboy, dis one na serious matter!
As di final results dey come out small-small, we go dey watch as di situation dey unfold. Museveni dey enjoy im reign, while Bobi Wine dey try survive di attack wey come from di state. This one na big lesson for politicians everywhere; democracy no suppose be fight! Make dem remember sey di people go always matter for any government. Na dem go shape di future!
