Minister dey call for better teamwork for Naija security matters

Musa sabi talk say both ministries na like two sides of one national security coin. E don observ say that line wey dem dey use separate internal and external security don dey blur because of different kinds of threats wey dey hit us like terrorism, banditry dem and cross-border wahala. As e see am, no single agency fit confront this issue alone. We need serious intelligence sharing and coordination, period.

We no go lie, Musa sharp gree say, “The line between internal and external security no clear again.” As e dey talk, the man dey reason say we fit join hands, share intelligence like family and operate smoothly if we wan make sense for this matter.

He come propose make dem strengthen joint intelligence sharing framework wey go join Defence Intelligence Agency and those bodys wey dey under Interior like Nigerian Immigration Service and NSCDC. Musa dey reason say we need better technology wey go make real-time information sharing go dey happen, and dem gatz organize joint simulations and exercises regularly to sharpen their skills.

Meanwhile, Tunji-Ojo wey don dey respond, come yarn say if internal security weak, e go scatter everything for the military side too. Na true, if internal security agencies dey strong, the armed forces go fit focus on dem core work as dem no go dey overstretched like dis.

According to am, “Our national security architecture dey stand on three pillars: intelligence, internal security, and defence.
