The strike na wetin dem call by Joint Union Action Congress (JUAC). Dem don give order to all workers wey dey under the FCTA to carry their tool box comot for work. So, make you no expect say anything go fit waka for government offices as dem dey plan to down tools come Monday!
As JUAC talk, dem don already give FCTA dem ultimatum, but the management no answer, like say dem no hear any gist. Dem say problem plenty, wey include unpaid wages, promotion matter wey no dey settle, and plenty issues wey dey affect the welfare of the workers.
Workers dey vex because dem rays dem issues wey get to do with pension and National Housing Fund deductions wey FCTA no dey pay. Instead of making things clear, dem dey run away from their responsibilities. Na true talk, dem even complain say 77.5% of workers wey sit for 2024 promotion examination fall hand!
The Public Relations Officer of JUAC, Holina Adejoh, don confirm say dem go start the strike next week. She talk say dem no gree again, and all eyes dey on FCTA. Dem go clear the air on wetin dey happen, but as e stand, nobody don hear from the FCTA authorities since this matter dey hot!
As we dey look, FCTA suppose sit down together with dem workers to solve this wahala before e scatter everything. Na so e dey for Nigeria, if wahala no dey come, everybody go just dey sleep!
