Na so troops from Sector 7 of Operation Peace Shield jump into action, chase dem kidnappers, and engage dem for gun battle. As dem dey do am, three of di criminals wey dem identify as Yusuf Musa, Auwal Adamu, and Kamal Abdul, no fit run come out. Di girl wey dem kidnap, she dey alright now, debriefed and don reunite with her family.
For di next day, January 14, di soldiers no rest o! Dem raid another suspected hideout wey dey suspected for armed robbery near Kaura town. Na so dem neutralise four more criminals wey no sabi wetin dey happen. Dem be Abubakar Ibrahim (35), Ibrahim Isa (37), Suleiman Auwal (25), and Suleiman Tahiru. Items wey dem recover from dem include one locally fabricated rifle, five rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and two motorcycles. Na so e be when dem carry out preliminary investigations, dem find out say dis group na part of a larger criminal syndicate wey dey involved for kidnapping and armed robbery along di Ganawuri–Manchok corridor.
Di Joint Task Force don talk say dem go continue di offensive operations to dey go after all dis criminal elements wey dey disturb di peace of di people. Safety and security of residents na dia priority. Na serious matter o, but we dey happy say dem don rescue di girl and don neutralise di bad guys.
