According to the police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, na early morning of January 14, two robbers meet fire as police operatives from Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, lay ambush for dem. Dem get credible intelligence say these guys dey involved for robbery and cult activities, so dem no give dem chance. As usual, the suspects come fire back, but na dem go chop bullet pass.
In the end, two of dem no go come back home as dem gree collect fatal injuries, while three others manage escape with several gunshot wounds. Na wah! Wetin dem carry come be heavy load for dem side—one T.06 rifle, two pump-action guns, and plenty ammunition wey go fit open any market!
Ikenga come add say, one of the suspects before he buy am say dem dey part of those wey don try attack former Minister of Labour, Dr Chris Ngige.
