Dem talk say many people wey don collect Certificate of Occupancy (CofO) no get proper documents at all. Some of dem no even get files wey fit hold ground for am. Na so Kogi State Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo yan am for statement wey dem drop for Lokoja last Thursday.
Fanwo boldly talk say, “If any CofO no fit pass through the proper process, e no get value at all!” Na the governor be the only person wey get the power to sign and validate any CofO for Kogi. So, if you no follow the law, your paper na waste.
Him also shine eye give people wey don collect land or property from government under dubious means, dem make dem come forward sharp sharp to check if wetin dem hold get any kind legality. Everybody wey gree play waya waya for this land matter go face di long arm of the law, no be small matter.
Kogi government don declare say, all di properties wey dem acquire wrongly, just dey go back to dem. Dem no dey carry last for matter of land ownership again. Na true as e be! Dem go make sure say transparency and accountability dey inside all di wahala wey concern public properties.
