Ayetoro-Kiri Community Don Cry For Help After Bandit Attack

My people! Wetin dey happen for Ayetoro-Kiri community no be small wahala. Dem don face serious attack wey lead to three pipo don waka go meet their ancestors and about 30 others don dey hold for bandits hand. Na wa o!

According to community spokesperson, David Ampitan, this kind wahala no be new. Last December, bandits don already carry plenty pipo go away, and after painful ransom wey dem gather together, only seven victims come back. But see ehn, three of dem no survive the hustle and four dey fight for their lives for hospital now. This matter don make community dey vex as dem don tire to dey bury their loved ones.

Ampitan talk say: “Our people don tire for all this suffering. We dey appeal to Federal Government and all the authorities make dem come help us. We need security, we need our pipo back and we need those wey dey ignore our cries to face the music!” Wetin concern us be say police no don respond to this attack as we dey yarn now.

On the other side, Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, don assure say their security agencies dey work to restore peace for the area. E talk say dem don start major operations to locate bandits and free victims. He say: “We dey feel the pains of families wey don lose loved ones. Wetin we go do be say every Kogite wey don fall for their hands go see light again.”

But wetin go happen after this? Everybody dey look for solution as the community dey suffer! Pipo go dey ask say how long we go allow bandits dey terrorize our towns when we get leaders for ground? Na wetin we go find answer to as we dey follow this gist.

So my people, make we dey keep our ears open as this matter dey hot. We go dey carry una along as more updates dey land! No be only for beer joint we dey gather gist, make we also carry our mind for our community welfare. God bless Naija!
