Na wetin cause dis matter? E be say for June 13, 2025, some bad guys come do gbege for Yelwata wey dey near Kadarko for Nasarawa State. E lead to many people losing dem life, and many farmers just pack comot come dey camp for Benue to escape wahala.
Chairman of the association, Dennis Denen Gbongbon, talk am for Lafia wey be capital of Nasarawa State. E address journalists after he and him members visit Emir of Lafia for palace to seek support for di displaced farmers wey dey camp.
Gbongbon talk say na 14,718 farmers wey come from 314 communities don run from dem base for Nasarawa come dey camp for Benue. Dem dey face plenty challenges since dem escape from dem homes o. E no easy at all!
He explain say di farmers no fit stay for camp again, because e dey clear say IDP life no get joy. Most of dem dey sleep for road or with relatives as dem no fit get proper accommodation for dem camps.
